The event embodies the spirit of conviviality, teamwork, and celebration that defines Brittany’s maritime identity.
security and management
From theory to practice
I took part in the 2025 edition of the Golfe of Morbihan Week as a volunteer within the transport coordination team. My mission was to organize and oversee the shuttle schedules connecting the sailors’ accommodations to the various ports around the Gulf. I was also responsible for ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the routes, coordinating timings and managing the specific needs of each crew.
Professional Growth
What I learn
This experience allowed me to develop my logistical management and team coordination skills in a dynamic and demanding environment. I learned how to anticipate unforeseen challenges, communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders (volunteers, drivers, sailors, and organizers), and stay composed under pressure. Taking part in the Golfe of Morbihan Week also gave me a deeper appreciation for teamwork, organization, and the vital role of precision and adaptability in the success of a large-scale event.
